The Value of Art
May 25, 2019
Self expression writing and design piece flows together to create a duo project about the importance of art.
The Value of Art Majority of people would say what is so valuable about the arts? The arts influences about everything we have today. I will be describing the benefits of the art industry and how much it affects us. What we make, what we see, and the end goal of expressing creativity. Over many generations the art field has expanded in various ways. For example, how an idea turns into a design whether it be a campaign for a company, or a new shoe design, and even to create an interface for a brand. We went from making petroglyph in caves to changing our way of living with the arts. Back in the day we didn’t have our fancy cars, TVs, and computers. Everything we use was once an idea that was nothing before it became something created into a master piece. Everything that is created is made with a purpose. Do you think someone just designed the McDonald’s Franchise logo and just slapped any random design and color? I can guarantee you that McDonald’s Franchise knew exactly what they were doing to catch the public’s eye? According to “www.medium.com” In 1940, Richard McDonald and Maurice McDonald changed the architect of McDonald’s restaurant.” “The McDonald brothers hired Stanley Clark Meston to design the architecture and logo of McDonalds.” “The golden Arches were created which later became the imagery of the famous McDonald’s logo.” What we create in the world catches the eyes of viewers which makes consumers want to buy the products by creating a visual concept engages the audience more. Art is not just a pretty picture it can be a story. The point is whether you work with a big industry or a small one you are contributing to an end goal. Especially being in the design field or any job that lets you use your creativity. Without an end goal a company will not be able to function. The same applies for just an individual running a business for themselves. It is important to meet small goals to slowly reach the bigger goals. All companies have goals they must reach by using their creativity into a business. They will defiantly grow their network marketing much faster and more efficiently. Some will say that art does not impact anything and why is it important? However, without art we wouldn’t have what we have today being the merchandise we have. We might as well be a blank canvas without a spec of paint on it. What I discovered is that by human nature naturally we over look the simplistic of what art has done for us. Not only has art grown but Technology as well grows with it. Inclusion the art industry has changed drastically over the years and for many generations to come. Everything that has been discussed about all works together as cohesive unit. It is important to come up with creative ideas so it can turn into an invention that many people will use or consume depending on what you make. By doing so It makes a visual concept that people can see and with that brings potential buyers in because they are curious about the product. All of this leads to an end goal which will create more revenue for companies.
